There is a website we can check gas stations within about 30 minutes of me. Waited last night until one of them announced they had a new shipment of gas, arrived at the ARCO at 9:43 with 60+ cars in my line, and three lines going. Couldn't tell what the price of gas was from where I started...in fact, noticed someone ahead of my ordered a pizza and had it delivered to their car!!!
At 10:59, arrived at the gas pump to a pleasant surprise, only $1.99! Filled up the car and off I went.
The guy in front of me had a convertible. I did count 6 cigarettes in one hour, though, for him along with a full CD of Aerosmith to keep all of us awake until our turn!
Have the other car to fill tonight. Thought maybe I'd take my laptop along and watch a DVD!
That station, by the way, is shrouded in yellow tape this morning...as every station was that I saw on the way in to work.

Seems the crisis for Phoenix is slowing down *some*........at least that's what their showing on tv! Now.....our prices, "$1.99" for the cheap stuff, 2.29$ for the medium grade, $2.59 for premium. With the crisis and these prices, I expect the Labor Day weekend to be a HUGE FLOP!!!! First the Rodeo Fire last year, the Kinishba Fire this year and now getting RAPPED by the oil companies.........all I can say, it's looks like the *time to answer* to a higher source is coming quick and YES......they "WILL" have to answer!!!

"Awwww.....isn't that sweet?" The dirty, rotten JERKS are so graciously dropping the prices now that Labor Day is over........they actually dropped the prices "2" whole CENTS.....we're at 1.77$ a gallon! Isn't that NICE of the oil companies??? "JERKS!"
I was 100% correct, our gas "DOES" indeed come from New Mexico, which BTW..their gas prices just across the border (45 miles to my east) are $1.39 gallon....."@#$&*(^$"

I agree Lindaloo. Okay, we know there's a problem with a pipe in AZ. Then there was the blackout that occured on August 14 - almost 3 weeks ago. I can MAYBE understand alittle blip in the prices due to disruption in service, but if it's taking them THAT LONG to get the service back to normal, there's something terribly wrong with the way Big Oil does business.
Our prices have increased about 15 cents since before the blackout. We all know what they did to the people of AZ.
I say investigate away!
