Thanks Lindaloo....I know 99.9% of the posters know what I meant and appreciate it...and I appreciate them. :)

I've been offered a forecaster's position with Storm2k on three separate occasions (as well as NEMAS and ECTWC)...as both a tropical weather and severe wx forecaster. This thread is a vivid illustration of WHY I've never accepted.

Perry,Yes its that time of the year we need to watch things, Your right, if 92 L can get organized the conditions down the road look to remain favorable for awhile. I have a feeling we are about ready for a burst of Tropical activity real soon:):) Keep up the good work Perry:):)

Perry, your insights have always fascinated me. I appreciate every post you put up. I feel l learn a little more about the historical aspect of hurricanes each time I read one of your posts.

I definitely agree that we must keep a heads up. Climatology and present conditions suggest that now is the time to be alert of the possibilites. Of course, nobody is saying we have another Camille on our hands, but it's always important to remember the lessons of the past!

Keep posting away!

That's why I post historical storm information...to assist coastal residents prepare for major hurricanes in the future by learning from those of the past :)
