How Fast Is Your Internet Connection?

I recently upgraded my Internet connection from dial-up to broadband and I’m quite happy with the increase in speed and the fact that there’s no need to worry about missing phone calls anymore.

One of the first sites I visited when I made the switch was Speedtest.net. It turns out that my speeds are below average but like I said, I’m happy with it (at least for the time being). How fast is your connection? Just curious.

I did it quite a few times and varied greatly each time. Download was down to 8 mb/s and upload up to
almost 4 mb/s.

I'm in Wilmington, NC; and I got 18mbps but my problem is - my wireless routes craps out two or three times a day and I have to unplug it and re-plug it back in.
