yup he wants to be just like ike.
seas are most impressive with this storm sort of like ike....ike brought storm surge to the entire gulf of mexico....that was an eye opener.
I will be awaiting Igor's swell's at the ocean on monday w camera

That map of Ike is incorrect I believe, as hurricane force winds (sustained) did not make it west of downtown Houston and didn't make it east of the TX/LA Border. Even still that is a large area of coastline to receive hurricane conditions.

i think alot of times the hurricane force winds "extend outward" is more like the "furthest POSSible sustained hurricane winds " ....extend up to xyz miles.
I remember hurricane wilma in S. FL raked far south florida up thru fort pierce a very wide swath was cut with hurricane force winds...just a beast moving thru.
