yes it does...westward hoe...GFS notorious for under doing ridges while the EURO tends to over do them...bet you the ECM comes in south of the GFS next run....just a hunch...

thats a big fat ridge all the way across....with it this south it would take a mighty trof to drag it up from there....

Slow mover, yes. Going to give it time to miss the big EC trough. By the time it gets to 60W there's probably going to be a significant ridge to the north.

Looks like the gfs has it moving to slow for such a strong high. In regards to the high that thing is pretty strong. Wonder if there is a sharp trough over the west as that high pushes east.
