Conversion page

I just thought I would post this for anyone wanting to convert the winds or pressure. This page also has a distance calculator on it as well! :-)

Good that you posted this because many may not know that conversion and as always storm2k is in front of the other boards with plenty of information that we can learn from.

I just bookmarked that page...it's one of the most useful calculators a weather enthusiast could have....especially us interested in hurricanes.

How to find your home cords.

Attached is a site in which you can find your cites cords. You can also find out distance form your city to cords of storm, between two cities, etc. No need to enter both fields, just enter you city (ex. Nags Head, NC Norfolk, Va) and it will give you cords of that city. Hope it helps

Just how close are the cords.

They give Nags Head as 35:56:40N 75:37:35W

My exact cords are: 35:59:367N 75:38.657W

Location 800 ft from Atlantic 1/4 mile south of of Nags Head, Kill Devi Hills border.
