Okay, don't laugh, but this forecast for the Northeast which includes Virginia is interesting:

Northeast U.S.
Long Range Weather Forecast for August 28th - October 27th
Includes New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington D.C.
Select Another U.S. Zone -----------Midwest/Great Lakes U.S.Southeast U.S.North Central U.S.South Central U.S.Northwest U.S.Southwest U.S.August 2010
28th-31st. Hurricane threat.


September 2010
1st-3rd. Thunderstorms, then pleasant.
4th-7th. Improving weather for Labor Day holiday: scattered showers, thunderstorms, then turning fair.
8th-11th. Hurricane threat, then clearing, cooler weather.
12th-15th. Thunderstorms.
16th-19th. Fair, then showery rains.
20th-23rd. Tropical system threatens Mid-Atlantic Coast. Mostly fair elsewhere.
24th-27th. Locally heavy showers/thunderstorms.
28th-30th. Clearing skies.

I have to work in Atlantic City on Thursday and Friday. It's our month-end closing and also the last big summer weekend for the casinos. :eek:

Will keep you in my thoughts Stephanie, the shore doesn't need this right now, I haven't been to AC in quite a while but the last time I was there there was hardly a beach! You don't need this! :eek:

It is family day at the base, but I do not want to use up my PTO, the contract is changing again and I need the cash, sigh
