I think thats true about the ridging, but I am wondering about the home brew. All the waves are becoming storms so early there is nothing to develop in west atlantic.

with the Home Brew, I am talking more about the fronts that are wasing out and, as we get into October, western caribbean development.

moving WNW to almost NW. Earl appears to be a a serious threat to bermuda.

Seems that it gets fairly close to the eastern Seaboard on this run. The ridge to the north rebuilds more than in the 18Z run

Earl is moving to slowly and the ridging isn't strong enough.

yep hes trapped alright....SV in coming into the picture in the northern states....does not look to be digging that deep....

gfs is screwing up the synoptics around earl by having fiona right on his tail. fiona is not going to be that close.
