Gas Prices

#1 Postby azsnowman » Fri Aug 15, 2003 8:28 am

WELL.....here we GO AGAIN :grr: ANY excuse for the oil companies to raise prices I swear.......A major gas line from Texas to Tucson, Phoenix broke over a week ago, Phoenix gets 30% of gas from this pipeline, you ought to see the price of gas NOW :grr: Last week it was 1.54$ a gallon.....in 2 DAYS, the dirty rotten SOBS have raised the price to over 1.79$ a gallon :grr: The heck of it is......we, on the mountain, receive our gas from Gallup New Mexico.........ONE OF THESE DAYS these ppl are going to have to answer for their greed!

How's the prices in your area?

It was $1.29 for a short time a month ago at my local gas station. Every time I drove by, I had to do a double take...it was the lowest I had seen it in a long while.

Since then it has moderated and is now around $1.40-$1.45 a gallon. Some parts of town are as high as $1.50...

Yep! The gas prices here were shot up from $1.37 to $1.50 at Shell.

$1.41 is the cheapest I've seen at Diamond Shamrock.

It's not bad here... usually $1.20-1.30/gallon at most gas stations around here.

"1.89" for the cheap stuff, "1.99" for the medium grade and 2.09 for premium :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: God this make me ANGRY.......I'm serious, if this continues, we ARE gonna start riding the horses around town, take 'em to gas station and let them "do their thing" you know.......road apples in the gas islands :grr: :grr:

Well sir...tried waiting in line at a Texaco tonight...but six cars before my turn...gurgle gurgle they ran out of gas. I would have been paying $2.49 a gallon for it had I made it that far. Got enough to give it another try either overnight or tomorrow.

Ironic....living in the desert we have plenty of water and no gasoline!

Thought about adding Mountain Dew to the tank so my fuel gauge would read full!

Add some zip to my driving too!

So far I have a sense of humor.
