thoughts please!
will the southerly winds (s to n ) in the gulf have any steering effect on this sys.? i'm assuming this wind pattern is from the lp retrograding back into tx?

Correct. The ULL continues moving westward and so is the building ULH (upper level high) also moving west, and this is why we're expecting 91L to continue on the westerly course.
