This system is trying so hard to close it off. It just hasn't quite made it yet. I fully expect it to later today though. Then it gets even more interesting. Meanwhile S FL. the glub glub state will suffer through a very nasty day.

By south Florida, did you mean just south of the Keys? That's where I see the center trying to form.
