Seems like every other year...South Florida, Texas, North GOM and The Carolinas.... Doesn't Seem that Informative.

Interesting map, but I can't imagine that any other year would look much, if any, different than this 2010 map. Meaning that if it were taken from historical data alone, with no projections, I'd imagine it'd look exactly that same, no?

they pretty much covered every major city along the GOM and Eastern US....nice...

I never put much stock in these maps....they come out every year and every year they are way off.....JMO..

Yah, The map Covers Miami, Tampa (Almost) Pensacola, New Orleans, Houston, Raleigh... Pretty much EVERY city that has a risk. How useful. Like we didnt know we have a risk. :D

Well, Is the map showing the entire season or a month or the peak? If entire, it missed S Tex.

Actually I'd probably make a very similar map to that given the set-up aloft we have and are expecting for the hurricane season.

I do a map every year and SFL/NGOM/Carolinas/Texas are targets most but not all years. Storms follow typical tracks so looking at a predicted active year SFL/NGOM/Carolinas/Texas have to be considered as high targets. I like the Veracruz Mexico high probability, thats being bold!!
