KEEP PRAYING!!!!!!
The doctors gave Barbara 1 year to live. I am on the way to the hospital now to see her. If the cancer they have found..in her lung is a different kind..then that of the other cancer..she will qualify for Moffit cancer treatment center..If it isn't they will have no choice but to send her home because then there will be nothing they can do!!!..I ask you all to please light a candle for Barbara and PRAY!!! PLEASE!!! I am sorry for starting a new thread..I just wanted everyone to see this.. We all saw the power in PRAYER!! afew times on this board and in our lives... They do the biopsy on Monday..Pray that she still has treatment options..GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
Sincerely

Johnathan - I'll pray!!! Of course I'll pray for Barbara. I want to tell you something and you listen well. When I was facing my own cancer I joined several message boards back then. I can't even begin to count the times doctors were WRONG. I certainly do not want to give you false hope or have you relay false hope to Barabara but there were so many times a patient on these boards would still be posting and fighting the odds, they were living far beyond what doctors said they would. Sometimes the human spirit and will to live is so strong. So hang in there, continue be the great, supportive friend you're being and know that we're all thinking of Barbara.

"Love, Medicine, and Miracles" by Leo Buscalia (if I'm remembering the spelling right).
Great book for cancer fighters. My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer that had metastasized to her lungs and ribs. That was in 1986 just after I graduated high school and went away to college. My mom told me to make sure I arranged to come home for Christmas (as if I wouldn't?) because she was afraid it would be my aunt's last Christmas. Someone suggested the book to my aunt and she read it and her husband, kids, my mom, and I all read it. She outlived my mom who passed away just a few years ago. Cancer went into remission and she died of other natural causes.
I'm lifting her up in my prayers for you, Johnathan.
