I know it is not being discussed, but being here I need to ask, is the Florida Panhandle out of the woods or is there "any" chance that we may need to watch this closer, what would we need to watch for? I am just curious with all of the NNE talk and remembering it being discussed stronger storms will move poleward.

Well, I wouldn't go buy plywood at this time. Always worth watching...

I would feel safe to say that you are in the clear.. youve got a ridge protecting you..

00Z operational GFS a bit to the right of this morning's 12Z at 36h, but comes back together at 42h. Looks like a hard turn to the west occurs during that time interval.

GFS looks to be stalling Alex right off the coast.. thats not good
