Now we can see more close the system that is slowly organizing as convection has increased although some SW shear still is in the area.

Yeah saw that Luis. Have a feeling that we see a slight northerly component. That is, it MAY cross the Florida (south) peninsula, contrary to what I thought yesterday. Reason for my thinking is that the ridge is moving from south Florida to north Florida today and ULL near Jamaica is fairly strong. Quicker development today may assist in nudging a bit poleward. Again this is just a thought. Main convection is still to the north of the center. So either way the southern half of Florida will see some rain and wind from this. The GOM should watch this closely as it will strengthen further when it gets in there. Cheers!!

All the models are now agree that a huge high pressure dome is forming from the east coast to the Mississippi. If it is as strong as progged, 91L will be lucky to landfall anywhere on the US coast, maybe southern Texas.
