Looks more likely the florida straits will be track into GOM

Whatever this system may be by then the models are in a consensus that the track for the system will be the south florida to the straits and then into the GOM.But again what kind of system it will be by then is to early to say but there is an upper low SW of Haiti and that will help to vent into the system and high pressure to the north will help in the outflow so all gomers keep watching the progress of 91L that I proclaimed dead this morning but I ate some crow by midday.

What is it looking like will be the steering currents once it reaches GOM or is that question way too early?

Still too early for that Kelly but some models say texas but let's wait.

Yeah it is my birthday but jk about the crow Kelly I already ate some cake with chocolate ice cream.

Too early to tell with any degree of certainty, SG. Houston/Galveston had an interesting discussion (look at the Houston/Galveston thread started by Johnny on this forum for details regarding this). There's too large of a spread after 91L enters the GOM, so my advice is for anyone living along the GOM coast, particularly from TX to MS (my best window guestimate) needs to monitor this closely in the coming days.

Then there is that frontal system currently across the northwestern Unitd States that may play a role in the ultimate track of this system.

NOGAPS isn't in agreement..how reliable is that model?? :roll:

Kelly to say for sure an area in specific that it may go it is too early as the models are spread out in the GOM but as soon the system gets closer to the GOM you will see more clustered those models.Remember when Claudette was in the GOM the models were clustered into south texas but eventually it went by Port O connor a little bit north but In general they did well.

Most of the tropical model consensus ATT are clustered towards Texas once again ...

Nope not Texas - you are reading it wrong SF - I said I want a coldfront - not a tropical storm - send it to Breinla or Bfez in LA.
