But in all seriousness, the only way to learn things is to join and ask! There are numerous promets (that would be professional meteorologists, with college degrees or military experience) and amateurs alike who just might be able to answer that nagging question you may have.
Sure, some of us might be silly at times (Guilty!), but it all comes with the fun we have discussing the weather! We don't bite...promise =] (Well...watch out for D5, I heard rumors.......
)

I'll be honest, I set my Internet Explorer to automatically delete all my cookies everytime I close my browser. So unless I decide I'd like to post something or I want to read the Sports Forum (why is that blocked, anyway???) ... then I am usually included in that group of "guests".

I joined the day before Tropical Storm Fay formed...4 days later it dropped nearly 2 feet of rain on me

I'll be honest. My time here is seasonal. 99% of the time I'm here during Hurricane Season.
