Cell east of Norman looks mighty impressive on the doppler radar, several rotations not that far away from each other...

Some very large hail reported as well...

Texas Snowman wrote:Reports of lots of homes damaged near I-40, the Loyld Noble Center (OU Basketball) possibly damaged, Sonic restaraunt destroyed in Norman...

Mike Beatis of TWC reporting visual on large tornado west of Shawnee (?)

If there is a Sonic destroyed, that would fall under fast food buildings, and the expected winds for a tornado to create total destruction of a building like that is 167 mph, or EF4. If the exterior walls collapsed, but closely spaced interior walls are still standing, the expected winds would be 138 mph, or EF3.

Shawnee under the gun from the tornado that I believe passed through Moore earlier.

News 9 reports that a Loves gas/conv. store at I-40/Choctaw was destroyed. People inside sought shelter and are apparently ok.

First reports of injuries trickling in as well.
