I will admit that it has been years and years since I have really watched the Olympics BUT I don't remember ever seeing so many falls in the figure skating pairs.

Maybe it's just my memory and old age.

I agree. I was thinking there was something wrong with the ice last night there were so many falls. Maybe it is because they are trying harder and harder tricks?

Canada is really going to start racking up the medals now. Their best events are during the final week.

That's odd. Our own national media outlets are now saying we will be changing our Olympic slogan from "Own the Podium" to "Disown the Podium". We were pumped for our best games yet, but I don't think anyone can touch the USA. I'm still proud to be a Canadian, and I am offering a trade of the entire Toronto Maple Leafs for Shaun White!

You may be right. Nate Silver at 538.com, the guy who did all the stats for the 2008 Presidential election is taking media projections and betting odds to forecast the final medal count. Latest update shows the US opening up a good size lead.

If your not watching curling, your missing maybe the best event of the olympics.

Canada playing Great Britain and the entire arena erupts into O Canada to get the Canadian team going.

Congrats to Evan Lysacek on becoming the first American to win the gold in Men's Figure Skating since Brian Boitano in 1988 (Calgary).

What a good sport Plushenko is being.

That must've been so cool!

Curling reminds me of shuffle board or bocci ball.

Plushenko is a sore loser. His jumps were not landed cleanly. Also, figure skating is a combination of techinical and artistic ability - always has been.

So. Arguably the biggest event of the olympics so far. USA vs Canada in hockey and its on MSNBC and not in HD.

Makes sense NBC.

He put on a happy face, but told the Russian media he thought he deserved gold because he did the quad and others didn't. Putin agreed.
