I Know
I know he answer/reason. The clue is in the one image that shows Africa. Take a look at the time - 1745Z (basically 18Z). The image is a composite image of GOES and Meteosat. The Europeans don't want to share their Meteosat images except for every 6 hours. So that loop will only show the right half at 00Z, 06Z, 12Z, and 18Z. Now some web sites post the images more often than every 6 hours - until they get caught.
Hope they're enjoying the heat and fires over there!

I've been lucky to find many different sites on my own and through others with a lot of links to other sources for those views.

I've compiled a ton of them here on my Tropical Weather Page.

Those stupid Europeans! Why don't we have a satellite of our own to take snaps of the area?
