Where exactly is Spring Branch? Near Katy? Anyone on this board know if it snowed in Colorado county, TX? In Columbus? Alleyton?

Not sure about Colorado County but I know El Campo got about 3" as my MIL lives there.

Thick, heavy snow band here now - the heaviest all day for sure. Starting to accumulate some on cars, etc.

Same here Jason. What melted earlier is now covered again in NW Harris County.

I posted this over at the local KHOU forum. Some posters upset with week long forecast for snow that did not materialize as may have been expected.

WXman57 and the other Mets on this board did great forecasting this event. Give them credit. Be thankful you got to see flakes falling from the sky on December 4th. We are all part of a historic event. For our weather friends along the coast we should be thankful we got to experience the great 2004 Christmas snow.

Well the weather event has made for a "all go home early" event here at work.

Good thing is we'll get precip later so hopefully some decent snow in Lafayette, LA.

In New Iberia (where I work) it's a very chilly rain.

Where exactly is Spring Branch?
We are in West Houston just North of I-10 between US290 and Sam Houston Tollway. If you use mapquest use Hammerly and Gessner as the intersection. That is near where I live.

Images from earlier heavy snow. Now slowing considerably or possibly over in West Houston.

It's all over here, maybe another flurry with that last band, but that's it.

Finally got some snow in Orange County!.....but not as prominent as I had hoped. Basically just a flurry and then switched back to rain/snow-ish mix. But still amazing that there were even flakes here! I'll take what I can get.
