Dennis...T'wasn't that long ago that doc told you to stay off your foot and let it heal. Next thing we knew you posted a photo of you carryin' that leg around!
This time the consequences are not good if you think you can intimidate it to jump out of your system and go away.
Taking it easy means taking it easy. Better to lose a few days of work than something more.
Easy for me to say. I haven't missed more than two days of work in a row to illness in years!!
Do take care of yourself...and rest assured those prayers are headed uphill from the Valley tonight.

No.....the only close contact I have with ppl these days is at Super Wal Mart, believe me.....after 20 years in the meat business, I try to avoid crowds of ppl like the plague, that's what I "LOVE" about doing environmental impact studies and assessments, it takes us so far out in the back woods that we don't see a single person for miles and miles. If I didn't see a soul for a month or 2 it wouldn't bother me one little bit....I like my peace and quite.
Steve.....thanks, as always, great words!

Of course I'll pray for you.
Dennis, please take everyone else's advice here and take your doctor's advice!!! Golf can wait and where your health is concerned, work will just have to wait. Your health is more important!! Keep in mind that usually when you take it easy and follow the doctor's orders, you usually get well faster and you can't work or play golf if you're in the hospital. So.....take it easy and stay out of the hospital. 'Nuff said!!

Prayers flyin in the Florida Panhandle as we speak!!
Your health is important!!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make you paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to you bones.
Proverbs 3:5-8

Well, I've brought a big pot of chicken noodle soup. It's useless to tell you to take it easy. You won't!!!! How about just take it a little easier!!!! I think you caught a hummingbird fever. (Wash you hands after you handle those buggers)lol
Seriously, take care my friend. Listen to Michelle. Only golf 18 holes a day and don't chase after those ball in the woods.
Prayers are definitely coming from the Burgh.

It's insane!
Yes dear (petal pusher) "LOL!" I'm doing as the sawbones says......besides, I feel too bad to do other wise, I've never had pneumonia before, God it's TERRIBLE........I have NO get up and go AT ALL, all I want to do is sleep.

Well.......I went in for another breathing treatment, it's a *little* better, my O2 stats went from a 82 this time last week to a whopping 87 today, heck no wonder I felt like crap...normal O2 levels should run about 97-98%......so as you see, I'm improving very slowly, sawbones said it could take up to another MONTH before I'm back to normal.....WHAT??? Me NORMAL "LOL" I have to continue the breathing treatments for at least another week, maybe 2 and use the inhaler 4x per day.....
THANKS for the prayers, you'se guys are the BEST!!!!
BTW....I "DON'T" have to go the hospital UNLESS it gets worse......Hmmmmm, wonder if playing 9 holes would make it worse???

Dennis, you apparently aren't getting any side effects from the Levaquin??
My father was on Levaquin for the infection he had last month and he got a serious side effect from it....a burning pain across one of his arms. :o (I believe it was his left arm). His doctor (not the one that prescrived the medicine, he was away) told him to stop taking it immediaite (which he already had after about three doses).
I am happy to hear that your are getting better, slowly is better than nothing.

Well folks, I've been holding off on this for a coupla days but DANG IT.........
First off, no Tom......the only side effect I can honestly say I've had is heart burn, nothing too bad!
Seems the pnuemonia has come back and even WORSE than the first time.......it's so bad, I don't care if the sun comes up let alone sitting here at this computer. No.....it's not depression, it's just so bad, funny stuff this is......I have NO DESIRE what so ever to do ANYTHING, eat, golf (you know it's bad when I could care less about GOLF!)
I feel bad for asking.....I mean with all the other stuff going on........well, just whisper a little prayer for yours truly.......BTW......my sawbones is outta town for another week!!!
Thanks with all my heart!
