Yep, watching it all now on the news.
Thats only about a mile and half from my house and a few blocks
from my inlaws. I hope they get this guy soon, I am feeling a bit
nervous. My kids schools are all on lock down too.
Kinda erie as well with no traffic on I-4 at all in front of my house. Dead silence,
except for all the helicopters in the distance.
Is this guy trying to be a copy cat of the Texas incident?

Orlando Fire Department District Chief Michael Droege said an unknown number of people were still in the building and could be injured. He said the SWAT team was still trying to pull people out.
"The building is not secure now," he said. "It's still unfolding."
Orlando police spokeswoman Barbara Jones identified the gunman as Jason Rodriguez, 40, and said he might be in a 2002 silver Nissan SUV with license plate D119UX. She said he used to work at the building.
"I would consider him armed and dangerous," Jones said. She said multiple people were hurt but she could not say how many. She said five people were taken to the hospital and another had chest pains but did not go to the hospital.

That was my initial reaction when I saw this story.
I'm glad that they got him. It's interesting that both shooters are alive this time. Most of the time they are dead from a shoot out or take their own life.

I was only about 10-15 minutes from where this happened when this happened attending a FJCCSGA conference. We were alerted by hotel staff within minutes that there could be a lockdown, and later that I-4 east was shutdown. All turned out well, and traffic was alright going back to Tampa. I had gotten an email of concern from an S2K member knowing I was in Orlando, and I wanted to make a public reply. I am now back in St. Pete.
