Looks like around 5 or 6AM Saturday morning your time. But remember that the really bad conditions come well before then.

oh. so i need to wake up to capture mirinae's whole thing O_O well i feel bit threatened now. it seems that we must brace for both heavy rains and strong winds. i hope this won't cause a luzon wide blackout, just like when milenyo crossed metro manila in 2006.

Eye defined but not clearly visible. Maybe extremely pinhole in nature means it is extremely deadly.

Yup, since their at the eastern side of the archipelago. My sister-in-law and her two daughters are going to travel by bus for Daet tonight. Still trying to dissuade them since the travel time from Manila to Daet is about 8-10 hours. They're likely to encounter Mirinae along the way, and that's not good...

typhoon frank passed over metro manila last time, but the blackout only lasted for 4 hours. i wish the electric post here in my district will remain strong to withstand the typhoon-force winds from mirinae. however, i learned that meralco is automatically shutting down power to prevent more cases of accident.
