Prayers needed on my behalf

#1 Postby azsnowman » Tue Aug 05, 2003 8:17 pm

I seldom come asking for prayers but I find it necessary tonight. I spent the better part of the day at the doctors.....seems that's all I've been doing as of late, anyways, I've been feeling very crappy for the past 3 weeks, my "get up and go, got up and went" without me.......seems I've got virual/microplasma pneumonia........a very severe case, if the antibiotics and the inhalers along with a daily trip now to the doctors office for breathing treatments doesn't work, it's in the hospital I go......I've got 3 days to shake this crap before I go. So.....the bottom line, I could *really* use some prayers please!

Dennis,

Prayers coming your way. Take some downtime Dennis - your health is more important than anything else you do.

Eat chicken soup and gets lots of rest and do what the doctor says.

You will be in my prayers till I hear otherwise.

Thanks gang.......I would *LOVE* to be able to take it easy, only one problem......winters a comin' and like the old saying, "Gotta make hay while the sun shines!" If we have a normal winter, in which I've got a gut feeling it is....then we have to *rat hole* as much cash as possible for the down months, that's the only downfall to our business, we depend on the weather so much but non the less.....I will *try* to take it as easy as possible.

Dennis

I don't have so many friends that I can afford to lose one; do what the doctor sez, PLEASE. Our prayers are being lifted up NOW.

Dennis - of course we'll pray for you!!! That goes without saying - ask and you shall receive. In a big way!

As for taking it easy.......do what the doc sez as Bill puts it, we need you around here!!!!

Rest, eat good food, take your meds, rest some more, etc. We'll all be here when you're feeling better.

Does this mean I can't play golf until I'm better *GULP*??? Nooooooooooooo!

Of course I'm gonna take it easy, I can't afford to be layed up in the hospital either, Michelle can't handle the *donkey labor* end of the business and we really don't want to hire another person....too much paper work, too much BS from the state and feds!

Dennis, I hope that you can shake this soon. I'm not familiar with this infection, but eat right, get your rest, and follow your doctor's orders.

Ed.....seems I was the 302nd case of this kind of pneumonia at my doctor alone in just the past 45 days........it's running rampent on the mountain, no one seems to know what's causing it.......all I want to do is sleep, doesn't matter, I've even been sleeping in till 0500 "LOL!" for me that's "LATE!" I've been working 6 hours a day, coming home, sleeping till 1600 hrs, hit the driving range, eat supper around 1900 hrs then it's back in bed!

Dennis,
I did a quick internet search. It's spread by close contact, like in schools, day care centers, and homeless centers. Did you spend any time in a shelter during the fire?

It appears that the outlook is generally good.

I'm chuckling over the driving range.

Take care, man.

Ed.

Ya know...that's possible, with the Rodeo Fire being so blasted hot and all, the recent heavy rains in that area has washed away the top soil exposing soil that hasn't been to the surface in eons, who knows?? Hey.....no matter how sick I am now, I *cannot* go a day without either the driving range or the pitch and put course!
