It does have that look to it. I say invest sometime today and TD over the weekend.

Our local private weather service in its morning tropical update suggested that the wave at 30 and the one just coming of the coast . For both they mention the disturbaces have a slight chance of development over the next 3-5 days. In fact, on their map, they indicate low pressure symbols along the waves whereas normally they just have a dashed wave line. Time will tell.

I suspect we will see slow development from this wave. Perhaps nothing until 50W. We shall see.

Quite surprising cycloneye, still give it another 12hrs and I think its quite probable the NHC will mention it, if its still holding the current 'look' so to speak. The wave behind it also looks quite interesting, and GFS develops that one quite quickly as it happens.

Wow, looks like I may have been way off in my prediction of the next depression holding off until mid-september. We'll have to wait and see though, to make sure this doesn't poof...

Makes sense really given it at least has a chance of doing something. Once these African waves get out to 30W and keep thier convection then usually thats a sign that there is a chance of development downstream.

Yep, we can never be too definitive when it comes to the tropics. Lots of people dismissing possible development for another couple weeks may have to re-think their opinions. Now this thing may just go poof, but just sayin'.

Definitely worthy of an invest,though the NHC appears busy with some other storm. Convection increasing, circulation increasing, separating form ITCZ. All signs of development.
