Not seeing much movement. Ridge building?

i agree... it almost looks like it wobbled southward to me... unsure just yet though about that...
could just be the rotation and pattern of the banding

IF it slows down and a ridge is building, would that push it farther west (maybe more towards Pensacola - sorry Ivanhater!!)? Just wondered...I really don't think it will be a Mobile Bay/Baldwin County storm as some have said on previous pages, but I do wonder if it may go even more west than Destin..

The convection is at least building to the south. I guess the ridge is building.... Hmmm

Hopefully this is some king of illusion and Claudette has not stalled. A stall could be bad news. Heaven forbid the storm starts drifting westward.....MGC

I've lost the center. It might still be moving in the same direction but filling in. The near shore buoys are showing some rising pressures.

I suppose it could be a center relocation under the convection?

Since it is such weak system it is hard to really tell movement from a radar image. I think it is still following the forecast track.

This loop makes it a bit easier to follow.

I'm going to guess it's still mainly on the NHC track.

Looks like the LLC is trying to tuck back under that convection to the east, giving it a southward jog appearance. Maybe a little relocation?

Aric Dunn is out on Indian Pass near St. Vincent Inlet i believe and is reporting sustained winds near 45 mph... That is near the area where the heavy band is moving inland now near the center... Winds are gusting to near 50mph... Heavy rains visibility is less than a quater mile... He has seen a few shingles come off a roof while I was on the phone with him.. Will have more from him later...
