very warm water off nw south america

lets hope this is just a temp anomaly and not the return of el nino. if these warm sst's expand, aug and sept may be rather slow.

There is a flaw in the data. The data from 00z on 31 Jul had the SST's 2 below normal. It has been below normal for over 6 months. Now it has them 6 above? There is NO WAY the SST's increased 14F in 24 hours.

Bad data dude.

Don't think so. SST's are down, not up (as Air Force Met) posted.
