Shear off the FL coast, around the Bahamas and Cuba area?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

No comment with these maps continuing to indicate low shear east of Florida and over the Bahama (area) and Cuba?

Well, it looks like something happened to the Bahama Mama because there's no convection now and no organiztion what so ever.

The sheer is indicated by the arrows that are not going in the same general direction as the others right? It's generally in that deep purple area to the East of Florida?

The length of the arrows indicate the wind shear values. Thus, short vectors over purple areas indicate very low shear, while longer vectors represent quite high wind shear values.

All values are given in knots.

Here is the Shear Tendency Map, zoomed up to show the wind shear tendency off the Florida coast points east: http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=9493

This thing has been hanging around for what seems like weeks. Looks like its waiting for some energy from another source. Maybe a wave.
