You are talking to a professional meteorologist with the USAF. Please show some respect for the knowledge and work they do. I do believe that he knows what he is talking about. I even know you can have convection at a low center without a warm core.

And Vbhoutex is right, Senorpepr is a very capable met, I talk to him often, and he deserves more respect than that.
