Satellite maps give the illusion of rotation? I know everyone has said no to this blob but it seems to have increased its "tightness" through the day.

No convection there, though. The disturbance is crossing over into the East Pac.

EPAC has that Yucatan disturbance that was trying to form. I think the GOM High ate it up.
