Seems to work perfectly fine for me using FireFox. Just double-click an area on the map to zoom in. Or click "Puerto Rico" in the right navigation frame then double click on PR a couple times to zoom way in.
What browser are you using, cycloneye? I don't think you need Google Earth to view the radars, but I have Google 4.3.xxxx.
The main issue I see is that Key West, FL radar is missing. Can't view the Keys.
South Florida zoomed in:

Puerto Rico zoomed in:

Re: proposed next generation radar displays from the NWS
I don't like Google's maps, they are inaccurate, and seemingly getting worse, not better, as time goes on. Where I used to be able to zoom in on a state area (like 1/4 of a state) and see labels of towns and cities and rivers (if those layers were turned on) now one must zoom in much closer before those labels appear, and as soon as one zooms out, they drop off again. I've had bad experiences trying to identify certain areas in relationship to others, where I had to painstakingly add my own town names as placeholders just to figure out where something was. They used to do that. And, they STILL cannot label rivers, by their own admission, due to lack of "resources".
But they have no problem adding more and more overhead pushing their ideology. Just check the historical record of the "layers" they have added over the last couple of years: Wikipedia - a popularity encyclopedia (it's true if the majority of self-proclaimed 'experts' who belong to the club agree that it's true), Discovery Network, New York Times, Global Awareness (Greenpeace, Earthwatch, The Elders, WWF, etc.) I think mankind is responsible to take care of our planet, but some of those organizations won't be happy until mankind makes himself extinct.
But yes, that's Google maps, and we are talking about NWS radar, right? No, it's more than just simple GIS added to more NWS product. (NDBC has already added google maps - worthless overhead) This is about taxpayer dollars building Google, a private company pushing a politcal agenda.

I still don't think you can beat GRLevelX for viewing and using the Allison House feeds. I use the analyst version and wouldn't ever use anything else.
