Authentic 1950 Miami Beach hurricane video

This film, containing high quality footage, is interesting. It is an exceptionally rare view of the aftermath of Hurricane King in 1950:

The storm's path:

This tropical cyclone produced sustained winds of Category 3 intensity over downtown Miami, but Miami Beach received Category 1/2 winds. The inner core was exceptionally compact, and the eye diameter was 5-7 mi at landfall.

The title indicates the film was taken in 1948, but the comments indicate that the film depicts damage from Hurricane King (1950). The thread has been altered, accordingly.
