Y'all probably hate hearing this, but...$2.28 now.

I will update again if it ever hits $1.99 here.

Most gas stations are below the $3.00/gallon threshold in the Raleigh area. I won't be surprised to see a few of them go below the $2.50/gallon by the weekend.

We seem to have stabilized out at around $2.75. We can live with this.....and the lessons learned.

We're finally under $3/gallon here in lafayette. For a town that's quite dependent upon the oil industry it seems we've been one of the slowest to have prices drop.

I don't quite understand that either - perhaps your gasoline tax is high? You probably also have to pump your own gas.

$2.52 for regular in NJ. Our gasoline tax is relatively low.

hopefully we drop under 60 in the not too distant future

would do next to anything for prices to drop back to the ~30 a barrel they used to be. I'd love to pay $1.35 per gallon of gas

Wouldn't we all?

I honestly don't think that we'll get that low again. I think we'll be seeing $2.00 plus range from now on. As long as it doesn't go $3.00 plus for a LONG TIME, I'd be satisfied.

Got gas in NJ right over the bridge for $2.50, on the way home the price was $2.45!

Philly I've seen $2.79 as the lowest so far (the robber down the street still won't lower his below $3.00-he's insane!)

Crude oil prices slide Wednesday

NEW YORK, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices slid again Wednesday on the New York Mercantile Exchange as the dollar continued to gain strength against the euro.

The euro fell to $1.2858, compared to Tuesday's $1.3064.

Crude oil prices fell $4.10 to $67.18 per barrel. Heating oil prices fell 0.11 cents to $2.048 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline fell 0.2069 cents to $1.576 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.137 cents to $6.755 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.858 Wednesday, down from Tuesday's $3.889 a gallon, AAA said.

That has to be a typo... I don't think it went down a full dollar in one day...

Oil prices rise as traders bet on an OPEC output cut

Byram, Mississippi......$2.24.......the wild swings are a concern. 30 cents a gallon difference from one interstate exit to the next seems rather unusual? Prices are swinging widely in a lot of sectors. Notice the restaurant closures? Folks are eating at home. What happened to the 4 cans of veggies for $1.00 sales?

OPEC cuts production and oil drops anyway. They've completely lost control of the market. :)
