Tropical wave at mid atlantic with naked swirl
There is a tropical wave that has a swirl around 14n-34w moving west. But 2 problems that wave has to encounter and those are that swirl needs to get convection going and second the dry air and sal in the atlantic.About getting convection that may happen as it passes the 40w longitud as the wave former TD#6 did and about the dry air and sal that to me is the biggest obstacule it has right now.Let's see what happens with that wave as it moves more west to see if it gets favorable conditions to organize.

Discussion from the NWS office in San Juan about this large wave that has a swirl moving west around 44w that in sat pics many of you may not see because it does not have convection but if you look close you can see clearly the curvature of the low clouds.Let's see what it does when it gets to 50w where warmer waters await it but dry air still is in the atlantic so it is a wait and see thing with this wave.
