Are the Gomers that are members of storm2k have to deal with another system going that way as it has been an active season for the GOM this 2003 season? Well according to some of the models yes but it is still too soon to say for sure where it will go after it gets out of south Hispanola where there are mountains of 10,000 feet that will not let it intensifie unless it passes south of that island.

I have just resigned myself to the fact that I am in for some sleepless nights, not excluding an evacuation or 2, or 3, or, well, you get my drift! Being in the FL PH for 30 years, I have never felt this apprehensive about a hurricane season as I do this one. Yes, I believe Erika will enter the GOM and possibly head this way, but there are many other possiblilities too. Anticipation, anticipaaaaation, she's making me wait.........

Take care everyone and keep your ears open and head down!

2 BIG questions with TD #6 right now.

1. WILL SHE SURVIVE TO EVEN APPROACH HISPANIOLA? Probably, either as a weak TS or continue as a TD.

2.HOW CLOSE WILL THIS SYSTEM PASS TO HISPANIOLA?- Camps are split on that, but it appears that it will be close enough to at least disrupt any development that occurrs during the next 48 hrs.
