That area was part of a convective system (s/w energy) that came through and exited off the SC coast on Saturday evening ... interestingly enough, it's probably a huge MCS or even an MCC right now ...
Seems to have some outflow, but in regards for tropical development ... not expected unless it persists for about 2-3 days ... then maybe ...
