Just heard on TWC that Ike may well got back to sea and not affect the US. Thank goodness...

Good to know :) Interesting that a met in CA is getting concerned about it. Guess he has been checking on the same model runs that we have. I'm very interested to see our local S FL mets at 5 and 6 tonight. Sure do miss Bryan Norcross at times like this.

Yeah, ours here on NBC, also seems to have changed his view a little. He did say we are in the 5 day cone, and need to keep a close eye on Ike...It is nice to know they are paying attention!

Interestingly, Local 10 TV in Miami has been coming on live with updates on Ike, twice in the last hour. Also, they are starting the evening news at 4:30 pm instead of 6:00 pm. This station has Max Mayfield and is not given to hype.
