Will it make it into a hurricane before it hits the cooler waters?Well the window is almost closed but it may briefly be a cane for 6 hours. Surely if you look at the sat pics it looks like a minimal cane now.

Yes CYC I agree.. Looks like minimal cane now... Could be number 2 for the season!!! We shall see what the next adv brings

I think it will make it to Hurricane status...but only for a short period of time.

You really think the chances of Danny restrengthening after a weakening process is not possible after the east to southeast turn, that is currently expected, takes place?

Danny has an eye now, looks like a hurricane to me. Honestly, it looks much better than Claudette ever did over water.

I agree PTrackerLA. But what the heck is up with that 1009mb estimated pressure? Did the NHC forget to subtract about 20-30mb?
