Been watching for 90 minutes and it really looks like the overtopping of the industrial canal has gotten worse.

Where the heck are you in Baton Rouge?

I'm not wind gauge, but the wind here seems to be 15 mph sustained with gusts to around 30-35. Small trees outside my window are just chillin'

Just saw a report saying confirmed tornado damge in Gulf Breeze, FL. and near Eglin AFB near FWB. Can we get any confirmation of that? We have members(and my mom) all over that area. Please report in if you can.

Less than a mile from Ascension parish....Southeast BR...the winds have def calmed down in the last 30 minutes or so and like I said it isn't too bad except for being out of power. Also I have no accurate way to say how fast they are.

Just saw a TV reporter from North NO. Said there was "a river" coming in. Showed some industrial buildings several feet underwater. He didn't know where the water was coming from (either the industrial canal or Lake Ponchartrain) but he said there was a lot.

Just talked to my Mom in Niceville and she reports that the weather is "dicey", but all is well in Niceville.

Like like we have a storm that wants to push a lot more west than north right now.

That's good to hear David! I searched all the sources I could find and haven't found anything about a tornado in that area yet.
