How many names on Labor Day?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

How many names on Labor Day?

#1 Postby OuterBanker » Mon Aug 25, 2008 9:43 am

With what is obviously Gustav with a land fall maybe in the Keys (a little irony maybe for a Labor Day storm in the Keys). 95L part B around 52 19 (thought that 95 was actually two areas anyway) and the area around 13 35 (yesterdays invest) there could be three named storms in the Atlantic basin this Labor Day. I don't even want to discuss land falling US possibilities. Of course most Labor Days have named storms in the Atlantic, but I kinda got used to the couple years off we hand had.

PS: Prayers to Florida. The poor panhandle is having to face a second drenching as the remnants of Fay now head ne dragging more precip behind it. And facing another possible land falling storm this week. I hope I'm wrong.

PSS Why is TPC pulling their invests so quickly this year. Yesterdays 95 and invest are both gone.
