That would be something else if it were to occur, seems like since last year the gulf has been the hot place to be in tropics!

I was wondering the same thing when I saw that that disturbance looked fairly organized.....except that it appears to be over land too!

Definitely something to watch should it make it to the GOM.

Thanks Lindaloo....I hate when I'm sick but especially when my kids are sick. My baby girl has been sick with me but not too too bad. However, my 5 year old son woke up with 101° fever this morning and late this afternoon it was over 104°!! Children's Advil, Sprite, popsicles and a cool bath. He is the one who has always run a high fever when he's sick...breaks my heart. :(

Keep us in your prayers please...

*hugs Kelly*

I know what you're going through -- my little boy is the same way. Very, very rarely gets sick, but goes the whole nine yards when he does. Breaks my heart too. :(

I hope you all feel better very soon!!

Did not know the babies were sick and it is disheartening to know. That poor little fella. You all are definitely in my prayers. Sounds like you all need some antibiotics, especially the 5 year old because of that high fever!! But I KNOW you know all that and they are both in good hands. Let me know when that fever breaks. I am praying it breaks SOON!!

Sorry to hear you're sick Southern Gale.....get well soon. I was the one who got high fevers when i was a lad (106 for 2 days...Hong Kong variety). However the school was good enough to send home the 3 weeks of school work I missed..(in third grade)..three days before I was due back :o Funny, I still hallucinate sometimes 8-) Anyhow, I don't see that wave developing in the GOM, particularly if Claudette hangs around another couple of days. This wave may affect the Bahamas IMO, but nothing to get excited about. The models have backed off on this a bit. Get your rest after Claudette though. This may well be a dangerous season...I don't like the pattern that is setting up :? Cheers!!
