TX/MX Storm2k members?

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Sun Jul 13, 2003 3:24 pm

If I look at the chat map, it appears that I'm the southernmost TX member on here, but I know that can't be right. They're just not on the map yet. I'm familiar with the locations of most of the Hou/Galv gang, as well as a lot of you guys from Louisiana, Mississippi, Bama, Florida, a handful from Puerto Rico and Cancun, and our model-making master Scott from VA.

Anyway...to those of you in the Port O'Connor, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville areas as well as anyone south of the border, since Claudette is making up her mind where she's going and seems to be just over a day from landfall, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Please stay safe and check in with us when you can.

Take care!

Yes, I'm in Corpus Christi. Right now I'm in the middle of taking down some antennas off of my tower. I don't think they would fair very well in 50 to 60mph winds. So with that being said, I'm going back to work. Lots of things to pickup around the yard also so they don't become missles.

WE are all here with all of our TEXAS neighbors that may be affected directly by the effects of Claudtte!! With her wobbling and sashaying about an dgoin gnowhere out there we all need to be wary of her.

For those directly in the path, we are praying for your safety. Please check in and report as you can!!! ABOVE ALL BE SAFE!!!
