Convection appears to be weakening. Just a natural trend or is it weakening?

I wouldn't think its a trend. There apparently is enough evidence for the issuances of Hurricane Watches for a portion of the southern Texas coast.

The usual ups and downs of Claudette from the start now it is on the downside.Garrett check later to see if she is on the uptrend once again.Until the center goes completly under the convection we will continue to see these trends up and down.
