I'm thinking the Upper Texas Coast...or SE Texas.

Call me a wishcaster if you like, but I put the range from around Port O'connor to Port Arthur, which unfortunately puts the Houston/Galveston area in the middle.

I voted upper Texas coast- we've already had a visit from Bill this season, so I'm hoping it stays minimal and you guys over there don't get a real serious storm. Maybe you can get a day off work, thinking Monday or Tuesday?...fp

I chose deep south Texas. The projected path has been focused on that area all along.

I thought the option of it turning around and going back through the Caribbean was pretty good.

I think it will either be SE Texas or SW LA. Anywhere from Lake Charles down to around Houston.

I don't change where i think it will land once i pick a place initially (just cause things change so much as a storm develops and I am still to new at the game to make more educated guesses based on environments) so even though it looks less and less likely I'm staying with the Florida Panhandle.

P.S. Good morning everyone :)

I just do not buy it about LA! Why? because do you know how many oil rigs sit off the coasts of LA or even TX? IMO, if that storm was going anywhere near that area, they would need to evacuate and secure those rigs NOW. Currently they are not doing anything, which is why I am sticking to the projected path.

Funny thing is so far only 5 people out of 28 have voted in the area where the NHC is dead set on landfall.

Well I was one of those five. If the NHC is wrong then they need to update or suggest a different projected path than the one they have now. But they are sticking with it obviously.
