No clear clue of where it will go but a trend towards a more east landfall is growing with every new runs from them.

This just goes to show you that there is really NO ONE out there who has any idea what she is going to do! I am still, after all this, sticking with my TX/LA landfall as a Cat 2..................

I will stick to my further east landfall than Texas due to the East Coast trough. But, here is an interesting extended outlook from the Marine Prediction Center that goes against the trough affecting Claudette. Also, check out reference to wave approaching Lesser Antilles.

OUTLOOK PERIOD...
MRF MODEL CONTINUES TO SHOW UPPER TROUGHS' INFLUENCE ALONG 85W
THROUGH DAY 5. MODEL INDICATES TROUGH WILL HAVE LITTLE INFLUENCE
ON DIRECTION OF CLAUDETTE.

TROUGHS' PERSISTENT PRESENCE ALLOWS UPPER RIDGE OVER ATLC TO
RELOCATE NORTHWARD. AVN MODEL SHOWS SURFACE RIDGE SLOWLY MOVING
N WITH WEAKENING PRESSURE FIELD OVER MARINE REGION THROUGH DAY 5.

IN ADDITION..AVN MODEL SHOWS STRONG TROPICAL WAVE MOVING TO
LESSER ANTILLES DAY 3 AND TO 70W DAY 4. WAVE CONTINUES WNW AT
SLOWER PACE TO NEAR 75W DAY 5. ANY DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM
WILL CHANGE TO OUTLOOK PICTURE CONSIDERABLY.
