Noticed this was picked up by our model map software and Invest 94L and is now displaying a tropical storm icon on the maps. Usually that means a TS with next package (5PM EDT).

Regardless of the wind speed found, a TS requires an LLC. A wave can produce TS winds.

Still trying to collect my marbles, but just reading all of the threads, I dont see any upgrade here from recon data at 5p.

Very interesting to see some of the things come up Ts04 but the6y may well just have this at 35kts and stil lan open wave, certainly is pakcing impressive winds!

Still don't see any LLC...There appears to be a MLC, but nothing at the SFC...BTW, where do I fall in the forecaster stereo types?? LOL Still think the overall structure is still trying to get better.

I think Scott's system saw 35 kt and changed the header to TS04??? Otherwise it makes no sense. There is no LLC and therefore, no TS.

I think even if it doesn't really do anything now eventually I find it likely that something is going to work its way down to the center, its just a matter of when really IMO.
