Well, she looks like she is going to surprise us again!! :o Not many people thought she would reach cane strength until her passage over the Yucatan and look at her now! :o She is a real trooper, I am very surprised that she has recovered this fast and this well! I am one of those who would have bet that she would stay a TS and reorganize into a cane in the GOM................hmmmm, wonder what she is going to do next :?:

Well...it did what it had to do when it had to do it. It slowed down and started moving a little north (which bought it time...otherwise it would be in Honduras by now). I think a Mexico/Texas storm.

Probably stall in the GOM and keep us waiting all weekend and next week. Just my thoughts.

Claudette sure does have a mind of her own doesn't she? If it is not a cane by 10 a.m. it will be very close.

With that kind of pressure drop the winds usually increase speed accordingly. I would expect a cane at 11 as well. :-)
