New hurricane web site

#1 Postby fox13weather » Thu May 29, 2008 11:04 pm

My staff has spent the past few months working on a new comprehensive hurricane web site. We have everything from Florida hurricane history to Dr. Grey seasonal forecasts. Animated computer models as well.

check it out at

Good job - you might want to consider switching the radar panel with the multi-view satellite panel, since many want to know about the local weather...

Frank, thanks for the feedback. Scroll to the bottom of the site. There are multiple SkyTower HD local radar views available.

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like a very comprehensive site and I like the overall design.

BTW, where is Fox13? I'm in the Keys and don't know what area it serves.

I used to live in Palm Harbor FL for 20 years (NW suburb in the Tampa Bay area) and watched Fox 13 for years. Great site!

Nice! Just added it to my favorites. I almost don't have to go to any other sites during hurricane season with all the stuff you got on it.

It looks great, but is the FL Hurricane History page complete? I'm only seeing a few storms (Andrew - Katrina). There is no Wilma, for example. I keep trying to scroll down further, but there doesn't appear to be any way to do that.

Thanks.
