TX winter wx thread: Spring-like pattern

Six months away would be early October....doubtful s.e. texas will have a serious shot of winter weather for at least 7 or 8 months more realistically

I am now almost certain, barring a major volcanic eruption or nuclear war, we are now about six months away from our next serious shot at winter weather here in Southeast Texas.

Looking like a dry, almost droughtlike condition may be developing South of I-10.

yeah, the GFS is showing quite a few impressive fronts reaching TX over the next week or two. Things could definitely get interesting..
